Pembury is a luxury self-contained property, beautifully renovated, classic late 1800's cottage, with a modern and comfortable décor and secure backyard suitable for pets. Located in historic Angaston Pembury Cottage comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests with 3 king sized bedrooms and a spacious shower/wet room and 2 toilets. House trained pets are welcome.
Provisions are supplied for a continental breakfast, on the first morning of your stay.
Settle into the comfortable lounge with a wood burning combustion stove, or head out to the large covered pergola, complete with gas BBQ, or relax in the covered eating area under the verandah.
All rooms have reverse cycle split system air-conditioners for year-round comfort.
Take an easy stroll down the street to the many cafes and restaurants, no cabs required! Great pizzas, coffee, Italian Cooking School at Casa Carboni, the Barossa Valley Cheese Company, Thai restaurant - lots of options to keep you fed and entertained all within close proximity.
HISTORY
Built in the 1880's, Pembury Cottage is one of the early homes in Angaston. It has had several owners throughout its history, at one time the family ran a tailor’s shop from a shed at the side of the building. Previous owners tell us they had no electricity and water had to be collected from the well to the side of the building. Each house on the street had its own well.

GUEST ACCESS
Access – We have a key safe at the rear of the property, so access is easy.
We can be contacted via phone or email.
Shops, just a short walk away include a butcher, great bacon, baker, pharmacy, ATM's and supermarket that's open until 8.00 all within a 5 min walk.
Our accommodation offers fully equipped modern kitchen facilities with inside and outside dining areas comfortably seating 6 people.
The rate is based on 2 guests (one bed) - an additional $50 will be charged per person (or if an extra bedroom is required for 2 people) please let us know if this is the case so that the rooms are available for you!
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
Kate and Jonathan have lived locally for many years. They are well known characters. Should any need arise they can assist with suggested itineraries. Otherwise you will have the house to yourselves and will not be disturbed
Please do give us a call if you do require anything.
We can organise great local chefs to provide an' in house' degustation dinner (no need to go out after a day of wine tasting) or provisions for a picnic. Prior notice is required.
